The long waiting finally had an end!
In March 2013 Olivia Newton-John came back to Europe for a concert tour for the first time after 35 years! 7 gigs in Wales, England and Scotland have been announced and finally an international crowd of devoted fans could see their idol on 6 stages (as the concert in Glasgow has been cancelled).

Although I am a fan of Olivia Newton-John since 1972 and although I had met her twice in 1990 and 1996 I had never had the chance before to see her in concert.
So it was an easy decision for me to buy 2 concert tickets and to make the bookings for the hotels and the channel train passage for my trip to England.

My concerts in London and Brighton
Seeing Olivia live on stage was an
experience I will not forget.
My first concert was in the traditional Royal Albert Hall in London where there is such a great atmosphere. The show was great but unfortuantelly my seat was only in row 25 of the arena which should have been one of the best and most expensive seats but was about 20 meters from the stage and so it was impossible to take good photos of the show. Nevertheless ist was a fantastic atmosphere and Olivia was singing in best form.
The next day I travelled to Brighton where the Brighton centre ist not to compare with the Royal Albert Hall because it is only a kind of conference center. My luck was that my seat was in row 3 just about 5 meters away from the center of the stage. The sight was fantastic, Olivia was just some steps away from me and so I could enjoy the concert and could also take a lot of photos.
